At work in Salvador Bahia, Brazil

Totonho loves to prepare his own canvasses, creating the ideal basis for his paintings of the rain forest and the Brazilian nature. He was captured at work in his studio in Salvador by videomaker Natan Fox.
A big thank you to guitarist Lee Ritenour for the permission to use the beautiful song Rose Pedals from his album Rhythm Sessions (2012) for this video.

Solo exhibition in Decatur, Illinois USA

Totonho showed his work at the Anne Lloyd Gallery in Decatur, Illinois in June and July 2009. Chicago based tv-station WTTW made a mini-documentary about Totonho: Inspired by nature. Totonho talks about his paintings and his career. Singer-songwriter Zeu Lobo, also from Salvador, accompanies him.

International exhibition in France

Since 2008 Totonho shows his work at the international art exhibition in Lautenbachzell, a small village in the northeast of France. This open air summer exhibition is organized by visual artist Roland Issenlor. French television interviewed Totonho on his arrival in Lautenbachzell in 2014.
